Abstract: The paper used the impulse response and variance decomposition to research the relationship between coal industrial low-carbon development and the quality of economic growth in coal-producing areas.Result showed that the impulse response function of economic growth’s quality to the low-carbon development of coal industry appears a inverted "U" curve.The influence of the first period was negative,positive later.While the impulse response function of low-carbon development of coal industry to the economic growth’s quality to is a "U" type curve,but the economic growth’s quality always show the negative impact on the low-carbon development of coal industry;The contribution rate of low-carbon development of coal industry to the economic growth is increasing year by year, but it is gradually decreasing in the later period.
